The 2019 theme is “evidence of things not seen.” From a writerly perspective, our practice requires trust in the writing process and our abilities as writers. “Evidence of things not seen” may evoke ideas/images of things hidden, overlooked, unspoken, and allows for audience interpretation.
Feel free to add a brief note (no more than 40 words for each photo) on how you think the art/photo fits the theme or is appropriate for the anthology, and it will be taken into consideration upon review of the entry(ies). If you have a different idea in mind, do share it with us and we will be happy to consider it.
All mediums will be accepted: photography, illustration, painting, collage, or any kind of visual or graphic expression. Images should have lots of open space for text. Horizontal images may wrap around the back cover as well, so choose appropriately.
